Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love your piece of history. If the fit isn't right or you've changed your mind, we accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
Return Policy
- Items must be in their original condition: unwashed, unworn, and with any original packaging.
- To ensure your refund is processed smoothly, please include your order number inside the package.
How to Return Following the standard self-service model, customers are responsible for selecting their preferred shipping provider and covering the return shipping costs.
1.Request the Return Address: Send an email to contact@datesnplaces.com with your order number. We will provide you with the specific return shipping details (this helps us ensure someone is available to receive your package).
2.Choose your Provider: You can use Posti, Matkahuolto, or any local courier. We strongly recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot issue a refund for items lost in transit.
3.Send & Notify: Once you have shipped the item, send us the tracking number via email.
Refunds Once we receive and inspect your return, your refund (minus any original shipping costs) will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
Exchanges If you need a different size, the fastest way to ensure you get it is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new size.
Right of Withdrawal
According to the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are manufactured or modified according to the consumer's requirements. Dates & Places products are made-to-order, meaning each item is produced specifically with your chosen design and size.
For this reason, we do not offer general returns or exchanges for reasons such as mind-changing or choosing the wrong size. We strongly encourage you to consult the Size Chart provided on each product page before finalizing your purchase.
Damaged or Defective Items
If the product you received is defective, the print quality is poor, or you received the wrong item, we will of course take full responsibility:
1. Please contact us immediately (within 14 days of receiving your order) at: datesnplaces@gmail.com.
2. Include your order number and clear photos of the defect or the incorrect product.
3. If the claim is verified as a manufacturing error, we will send you a replacement product free of charge.
Cancellations and Changes
If you notice an error in your order, please contact us immediately. Once an order has entered the production phase (usually within a few hours), it can no longer be modified or cancelled.
